One Year Left In England!!!

Caister Vacation

It was fun. Kids had a blast. The ocean was pretty. It was fun crawling on the rocks. There was soo much for the kids to do. The 1st, 2 days it was nice out. Me and Jacob had to stay in the 2nd day, because we got sick. The boys played on the playground stuff the first day and the huge slides. Then we got our caravan and got every set up. Jacob puked at Tesco on the 3rd Day.
Every day we went swimming in the warm heat indoor pool. It rained from the 3rd day until we left. Friends of ours joined us on Wednesday. The kids had fun singing, dancing, coloring and making friends with the Characters. Rory, Anxious, and Greedy. Everyday from 6pm to 12 midnight, there was stuff for the kids to do and watch. It was cold at night and we had to all cuddle up in the living room area and block it off with a blanket with the gas heater on high.
Even though we were cold and got sick, everyone still had fun and we will probably do it again, before we leave here.

Went to Sakina's sister Mina's Pub with her and the boys. In boys I mean Cole and Connor.
Connor gets out of the car and jumps in this puddle that is up to his knees. He starts crying. I laughed soo hard. Took him into the pub, cleaned him up and changed his pants and socks. Dried his sandals and he was up and running again. Him and Cole played at the backdoor with the Dog. Big Dog may I add.
After that we drive back to the base. We stop and look at the New 2005 Chevy Colorado. Nice truck, they want $18,000 for it. Then Sakina decided it was time for me to drive a stick. HA HA. That was funny.
We go around the block. (Bouncing all the way, ha ha ha). Then she took me and Connor home. At home Connor goes outside, while I call the School Back. Spring Photos are at the end of Apr and I'm in charge again. YAY, (LOL). He lets the cats out. I called for them and look all over the backyard and could find them. Oddly enough about 30 minutes later they are at the door crying. Connor threw a ball over the fence. I told him oops its gone. Lunch time: Connor wants pizza but will not eat it. umm, I wonder if that sounds fimilar. Tonight Jacob has his first T-ball Practice. Him and Marty is on the same team.

Oh Joy

Today has been one of those days.
Woke up at 7 am. Mike took Jacob to school. Connor and I went to go get my haircut, the lady say just walk in. Yeah right, that was funny. Made an appt. Went to BX. (Oh Joy). Then went back to Sakina's house. Watched Cole and Connor play. Cole took nap. Connor refused to take one. After leaving her house, I passed this house with a really cute Chihuahua in the window. It was small like Chi-Chi, but it was grey. Oh it was soo cute. (Darn do I miss my dog).
Connor has been fussy nonstop. Jacob came home. Did his homework. I finally got him an appt to get his eyes checked, couldn't believe how hard they make it for you to get an appt. (British healthcare).
Well today has been one tiresome day. I'm past ready for a nap.

March 28

Spring was in the air, the fresh smell of rain in the morning. Now we are at the fresh smell of Farm Land in the morning with it being chilly. 60 was warm for a few days, now it is 60 with no sun. Sun (big yellow ball in the sky), umm, I wonder what happen to it. :) Oh well.
Jacob is at school. Connor is running around the house, driving the cats crazy with a paddle ball. (Easter Present, Darn Bunny). he he.
Got to car fixed today, no more weird sounds, woo hoo, and it only cost 20 bucks.
Well going to do some cleaning and figure out what sounds good for supper. Laters

Easter Sunday

Connor woke up early, WOW, Jacob look.
The boys played with their Easter Toys.
They also fought over toys. That has been going on for a while. Fun!
We went to Frankie and Benny's for Lunch.
I don't know what we are doing for supper.
Went to the BX for a while.
Jacob's friend Jordan came over and they played Pokemon for a while. Then decided it was fun to beat up Connor. Jordan went home at 5pm. Mike & I put together some puzzles, then glued them so we won't do it again.
Jacob & Mike are cleaning up Jacob's Room.
This has been a cleaning weekend, and the bad thing is the cleaning is never finished.
As someone told me before, Cleaning a house while your kids are still young is like shoveling snow when it is still snowing.

Easter Weekend

So far so good.
Boys are being themselves.
Connor got sick he feels better, be he is a little cling on today.
Jacob played pokemon battle with Mike. He also beat Jordan at Pokemon. That was awesome for him.
Mike and I cleaned up the backyard, looks pretty nice.
I painted the swing back from rusty green to hunter green. It looks almost new. Connor painted himself. He got paint on his face, hands and feet. It was funny.
Jacob must have had a busy day because he feel asleep about 8 am.
Connor is eating suckers like that are going out of style.
Mike is playing Pokemon. Like Father Like Son
Tomorrow is Easter.
We will hide dye and hide eggs. Hopefully the kids will have a nice day with hardly any fussing.
Well I'm going to go get Con Man to sleep.

Morning
How is everyone today? Everyone here is good. Jacob is playing with the neighbor kids, Reva's Kids. Cole, Amber, & Jaide. Jacob is playing with Cole more than Amber and Amber is upset. Connor and Jaide are outside playing. They all had lunch chicken tenders and chips. Then after lunch I let them all decorate cookies and eat them. That was a big mess, but at least they had fun.
Mike is working. He said he still feels better good.
For Jacob's birthday we are still playing a trip to the Zoo with One of his Friends, insteadof a party. I can't see having a party and getting toys and doing the whole cake and ice cream thing when school first starts back. He likes the idea so I guess that is all that matters.
The boys have the weirdest birthdays from being over here. School starts back 7 Sept and Jacob's birthday is 15 Sept. And School gets out around 8 June and Connor's birthday is 9 June. Gotta love that.

Mike's back is getting better. He threw it out again on Saturday playing with the boys.
Jacob & Connor are playing.
We went to the BX. Jacob got pillow fight pillows. Him and Connor had a blast with them. They still are actually.
We had a gas leak on base, everything is fix now.

I know I haven't been in here in a few days.
Let's see if I can catch ya uptodate.
Not too much went on. Reason why I haven't been writing everyday. We also had thunderstorms almost everyday last week. Oh they were great.
Friday we went and got the rest of Jacob's school clothes. He has a total of 10 new outfits, all his school supplies, new shoes, and a backpack. He can't wait for school to start back.Connor got 5 new outfits for winter. Both of them will need new clothes by Christmas. Saturday we went to Feltwell. We met my online friend Tish. She was pretty nice. Everyone had fun.Sunday.
Mike pulled his back out again. He went to the doctor today. He will start PT soon. He has 8 visits to do. Hope it helps.We cooked on the grill last night.
Today 16 Aug.
I'm cleaning the house. Jacob and Connor have been playing pretty nice today. Thinking about taking them to the park. Only thing that is stopping me is the bees. ARGH! I hate bees.

We played in the house for a while, went over to friends house and played. Mike came home from work and we ate supper then we went for a walk.Connor got stung by a bee in his hand. OUCH. He did pretty good, didn't cry much. But he is now scared of bees. Can't blame him there

Today we went out to Peterbourgh. Went to the pet shop to check on pets for the boys. Not much there but big dogs. Don't need big dog. Then we went to the mall. It made me homesick as heck. Seeing stores that are the same as back home without the back home prices. Jacob & Connor had fun. They got candy and then we went home. Reva came over. They went to Nottingham. I got a keychain and Jacob got a bow and arrow set. Mike had to go make Connor one, since they didn't get him one. He has a stratch on his forehead from playing soo hard. I made Apple Pie. It was Yummy. Mike has a PT test tomorrow. Can't wait to see how he does? Mike is just about ready to send us back home. All of us hate it here. It's funny, because we all try to give England a chance, but it isn't home. It isn't the good ole US of A. It's 2:42 am Monday morning:I'm awake because a stray cat jumped up on the window and caused the screen to fly up. Scared the crap out of me and Mike. Then I started feeling guilty for having give up Miss Kitty and Gemmie. They were great cats. I miss all my pets something furious. Can't wait to go home. Supposedly the people we gave our cats too said we can get them bad. But I don't know how well that will work. Don't think Cats are as loyal as dogs. Connor thinks rabbits are the coolest thing. Jacob wants a pet snake. I told him he can have the temp tattoos of snakes or stuffed animals or pictures of snakes he wants, but there will be no snakes in this house. Good Gravy Kids.I looked up family history stuff on-line. Hopefully Jacob or Connor never has to do a Family Tree. I know it would be nice to have. But that was the longest and most annoying thing I'm done in a while. & I still didn't find the info on it. Oh well, I'll try again later.

Didn't sleep last night. Slept most of the day away. Mike took care of the kids.
He passed Push Ups. Failed sit ups. But since I wasn't feeling good he missed his run. He will re-test in the fall. We decided we need to start exercises more. We eat healthy, but hardly ever exercise.
I'm going to go watch Beetlejuice with Jacob.Jacob fell asleep with in the first 15 minutes.
Connor is sleeping.Connor woke up and watched the entire movie. He even whined when I changed the channel. Nite Nite

Norfolk Area Trip

We left at 9 am. Went to the store to get Ice. No, ice. The commissary didn't open until 10 and we were ready to get on the road. So we went to Tesco Gas Station. Nope no ice. Then to Tesco. Nope no ice. Then to an Exxon Gas Station. No ice. Then to the Tesco Extra. Hot dog, ice. 4 small bags for 6 Pounds. Oh well. It was now 9:50 am and we were on the road to the Beach. Okay took us 2 hours to go there. Traffic was a killer. Went to Castle Rising. They were having a War Day Battle at the Castle. It was 20 pounds to get in. Nope. Took pictures of the castle and said off we go to the beach. Got to the beach. It was 3 pounds for all day parking. Not too bad, since parking is expensive in this darn country. We get our stuff and head down. Change clothes and look at all the rides. It looked like a fair there. Really nice. Then we got to the water. Okay well is the sand. There were people laying out on the side walk area. The water was gross. It had big huge pieces of sea weed in it. And some dead animals that the british kids kept calling jelly fish. LOL. It wasn't jelly fish. Oh well Jacob had a blast. There were lots of rocks to throw in the water. Connor played in the muddy stuff that was suppose to be sand. :) We had lunch. Then decided to check out the price of the ferry to the cliffs. It was 20 pounds. Okay nope again. (20 pounds is almost 40 bucks). We let Jacob do some rides then we left. Got there at 12:30 pm and left about 4:30 Went to the Lavender Fields. Really pretty. Then went to another part of the beach, just to check it out. Okay if you have been seen Pensacola Beach or Mrytle Beach. This isn't it. LMAO. Then we went to the Queen's Norfolk Estate. It was 4:45 pm and it closed at 5 pm. So I got to take a picture of the statue. And get a brochue of the estate. BTW 20 pounds again. HA HA. They are funny. It only took us about an hour to get home. Went to McDonald's had supper. Then went to a friends house to compare our days. They went to York. York is great if you don't have kids. At least that is what I was told.

Well yesterday we decided not to go to Nottingham. Instead we are going to go to the beach. Jacob really wants to go to the beach. I just have to remember the camera so that I can take lots of photos. Can't wait to see how the boys enjoy it. Cross your fingers for no rain.
Today: Jacob is playing at Amber's House. And I'm starting up the sour dough bread mixture. YUMMY Bread. Mike is getting paid on the 15th. So I'm guessing finance is getting better. WOO HOO!. Mike is at work.
Connor is getting better and better at talking. Yesterday Jaide asked what's that. Connor said, Candy and it's all gone. Clear as day. WOO HOO. Our little man isn't soo little anymore. Jacob rode his bike to the school and rode around there while Mike ran 6 times around the school. Still trying to get in shape for the PT Test.
I'm going to go play with Connor while it is just me and him. I will catch up with you guys later.
Back. Connor had a blast. He thought it was fun to play in lotion and shaving cream. At least he smells pretty. LOL. He is back to watching TV and it is lunch time. What are ya'll having for lunch??? We are having Leftovers from supper. Fett. Alfredo, with chicken and veggies.
Connor took a nap after lunch. Jacob is back from Amber's House. He brought Jaide and Amber back with him. Everyone is acting they haven't ate in days. Can someone please explain that? You feed them breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. And they are still hungry.
Mike came home from work. We went to the commissary to get the snack and lunch stuff for our beach trip. Came home ate supper. Then off to bed. We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow.

I know I should have started this a while back. But I guess it is better late that never.
Jacob is in love with pokemon. He wants pokemon everything. Right down to a halloween outfit. It's so amazing how far he is growing up. He loves his bike. Always wants to ride around the track. He has friends here. But he doesn't understand when they move they aren't coming back. That will change soon. He did VBS. He had a blast. But he keeps asking why God isn't talking to him. He is starting 1st grade in Sept. He can't wait. He still asks about his friends in the states. And he asks when he is going home or they are coming here. He has a little girlfriend here that keeps telling him about the birds and the bees. So we are limiting how much they play together.
Connor loves annoying his big brother. I get to hear all about it all the time. Mommy Connor's touching me. Then Connor runs out with a big smile. He is getting much better at not screaming 24/7. He is still trying to find his place in this house. He is soo cute. He can talk up a storm. You really have to watch what ya say theses days. He can ride his tricycle. Everyone is Connor. We don't know why but that is how is works. Potty training is going very slow. Which doesn't surprise me. We didn't start with Jacob until he was 2.5 years. We was completely done at 3 years. I think it would help if we didn't have wool carpet. YIKES.
Mike finished his first college class with an A. He said it was fun, but it was hard. Not going to school for 7 years will do that to ya. He works all the time.
We have been talking about where to go next. He is hot for a short tour. So we are going to apply for Kunsan. And then he will go there for 6 months come back for 1 month then go back for 5 months, then it is off to another base. Which we are still debating. Gotta love that. Me and the boys will stay at my moms and visit friends and family while we are there. So everyone can get their grandkids, nephews, and cousins fix. I know how much ya'll miss them.
Me, I'm just staying busy. Trying to pass the time.
Well in July we went to London! The Science Museum and the National History Museum. The boys enjoyed the train ride. Connor fell asleep before he got to see the dinosaurs. Jacob loved them, he wanted a dinosaur mask. We said no because we aren't paying 30 bucks for a cheap mask that will break in 5 minutes. So he was a little mad for the rest the trip. But that changed after we got to McDonald's.
